The trainers

The people behind the
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method

The strength of the Association of Master Trainers lies in the people who carry the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method forward. At the heart of this Association are the Master Trainers — Robert Rasmussen and Per Kristiansen — and the Trainers they have personally educated through a consistent, rigorous, multi‑year pathway.

Preserving the integrity of the method

The Master Trainers’ work with the method spans decades of research, facilitation, refinement, and teaching. They not only safeguard the integrity of the methodology but also mentor the next generation of trainers, ensuring that the depth, precision, and spirit of the method are passed on with care and consistency globally.

The trainers belonging to the Association have completed an extensive apprenticeship under rigorous guidance. Their education is demanding by design: a blend of theoretical grounding, hands‑on practice, continuous supervision, and reflection. This journey equips them not only with technical mastery but also with the mindset and responsibility required to teach others.

One method, one global community

Together, the Master Trainers and Trainers form a global team united by shared standards, a common curriculum, and a deep commitment to quality. They bring their own personalities, experiences, and passions to the work — yet they are aligned on one purpose: to help facilitators learn the method with consistency, clarity, confidence, and respect for its origins.

This page introduces the people who carry this legacy forward and who train and support facilitators entering the world of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® via the Association’s Foundation Training Program.
