What is the difference between attending the Foundation Training vs. a workshop?
<\/strong>Training: Focuses on teaching techniques for designing and facilitating solutions tailored to specific fields.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Workshop: Centered on achieving outcomes rather than learning to facilitate the method. It requires the presence of a Certified Facilitator.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

Why does it take 4 days to complete the Foundation Training?<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
Over time, we\u2019ve tested whether the training could be shortened, and the answer has consistently been no. Facilitators who train for fewer than four days report feeling underprepared to use the method fully or apply it across a wide range of contexts. What is the cost for the training?<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

Do I need to re-qualify?
<\/strong>No. The Foundation Training is the AoMT’s core certification necessary to use the LEGO\u00ae SERIOUS PLAY\u00ae method with confidence and integrity. Once certified, you do not need to re\u2011qualify. As you gain experience, you have the opportunity to continue developing your skills through our <\/span>Community & Support<\/a> Network or by joining our optional Post\u2011Foundation Training Program.<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n

What is the difference between master trainer, trainer and facilitator?
<\/span><\/strong>Master Trainer:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>within the Association of Master Trainers, this title is reserved for trainers who are qualified to train other trainers.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Robert Rasmussen<\/a> and <\/span><\/span>Per Kristiansen<\/a> hold this title because they created the original facilitator training programs, led the LEGO<\/span>\u00ae Group’s\u00a0<\/span><\/span>global trainings from 2001\u20132010, and are the only people who have trained Trainers of Facilitators on the LEGO<\/span>\u00ae Group’s\u00a0<\/span><\/span>behalf.<\/span><\/p>\n

Trainer<\/span>:\u00a0 is certified to deliver the Foundation Training to new facilitators. Becoming a Trainer requires substantial client experience with the method, followed by a rigorous 3\u20134\u2011year apprenticeship and final in\u2011person training with Robert Rasmussen and Per Kristiansen. What are my rights for using the documentation and learning outcomes from the Foundation Training?
<\/span><\/strong>You are free to use the documentation and learning from the Foundation Training to design and deliver your own workshops with the LEGO\u00ae SERIOUS PLAY\u00ae method as a certified facilitator. However, the materials themselves must not be copied, shared, or used to offer facilitator trainings, which are reserved for certified Trainers within the Association of Master Trainers.<\/p>\n
